September 2020 update

Unfortunately COVID seems to be getting a renewed grip on the country, so it’s kind of uncertain where we’re going. Let’s hope for the best. But for now, let’s go!
Serverless September
This is a good month to do so, since it’s #ServerlessSeptember! My colleague Oscar van Tol and I kicked off the month with a webinar that is now available online: “Kicking off Serverless September: the present and future of Serverless”. Since that, we’ve been creating lots and lots of Serverless content and we have shared it on our company’s Serverless September page.
Website updates
The website received some love this month, too! There’s now a search-box on the top right (powered by Google). I also made some changes to the theme of the site so it makes better use of screen real estate on higher resolutions. And I’m now running a dark-themed site. This should be easier on the eyes while still having enough contrast. If there’s anything not looking good, please contact me and let me know.
Microsoft Ignite
There were so many cool updates at Ignite! Think about Azure Orbital, some awesome new features for Teams, the new Surface Hub 2S 85″, Static Web Apps now supporting Blazor and C# Functions and so much more! Just check out for yourself at the Ignite Session catalog or have a look at the Ignite 2020 book of news.
So much more to come …
One of the great things about the job I have is the opportunity I get to participate in so many different types of projects. There’s a lot more comming, and I’m looking forward to it.
Oh yeah, one more thing: if there’s anything you’ld like me to write a post about, let me know!
Stay safe and healthy!
